  • Temporary residents who will be resident in Australia for a period exceeding 12 months are able to purchase property in Australia. If the property has been previously occupied or sold, it must be a principle place of residence and when the temporary residence ceases, the property must be sold.

  • We will advise on purchase contracts prior to you signing to ensure that FIRB requirements are met.

  • We will advise individuals holding business visas or other temporary visas buying “first hand” properties, units or land for investment purposes (rental).

  • Students who wish to buy property should also make inquires with Glass Lawyers as international students are entitled to purchase property in Australia.
