Q. How long will the process take?
A. This can vary according to visa class. DIAC publishes service standards and it is our experience that these service standards are accurate. Some applications may take longer due to additional character and integrity checks.
Q. How much will everything cost?
A. At the time of instruction we will give you an estimate of all legal costs you may incur. Please note our pricing is scaled to current market and extremely competitive, with the added benefit of acquiring the services of an Immigration Law Specialist.
Q. Do you provide any guarantees?
A. No. You either satisfy the VISA criteria or not. If we assess you as not satisfying the criteria, we will not act for you.
We have an extremely high success rate.
It is our policy that if in the unlikely event that we make an error in your application, we will either refund all monies paid to us in full, or relodge a fresh application without charge.
Q. Do you have references or testimonials?
A. We welcome feedback from clients in regards to our services and we have many messages of appreciation gratitude from our clients. However as a law firm we respect the privacy of our clients and that is why we do not publish their messages. We are confident in the knowledge that our grateful clients recommend us.
Q. My Visa is being cancelled, what do I do?
A. See our Immigration Law Specialist as a matter of urgency as strict time limits apply to respond to a Notice of Cancellation and appeal from a cancellation.
Q. What do I have to do to get Australian Permanent Residency? What courses should I do?
A. The Australian Government has made it very clear that there is no "nexus" between courses undertaken and Permanent Residence. However, there are courses that result in successful assessments of occupations on the skilled occupation list. It is important to check the criteria for successful assessments by assessing bodies such as ACS, VETASSESS and the accounting bodies. Migration Act.
Q. Why don't you have free consultations or free assessments?
A. We want to give our clients valuable, thorough and detailed advice from the start.
The DIAC web site provides a great deal of information about Australian Migration and there is also a "self-assess" process called the Visawizard. This is free.
